Sevres Blue Ground Two Handled Gilt Metal Mounted Porcelain Ovoid Vase and Cover, late 19th century, the domed cover above the body mounted with scrolled masque head handles, centered by a painted romantic scene titled “Serment D’Aimer Toute Ja Vie” [Oath to Love All My Life] signed “R. Petit”, reverse with a bucolic landscape within elaborately gilded borders, the lid with interlaced “L” mark, centered by an “S”. 32″ H x 12″ W x 10″ D.
